Holmquist Hazelnut Orchards is a 5th generation, family-owned and operated farm located in the fertile farmlands of Lynden, Washington. Holmquist Hazelnut Orchards enjoys a time-honored tradition of providing the freshest and highest quality hazelnuts and hazelnut products in the Pacific Northwest!

Ever since John Victor Holmquist emigrated from his native Finland in 1905 to the heavily timbered acreage of Judson Lake near Lynden, Wash., Holmquist Hazelnut Orchards has been all about growing, processing, promoting and delivering the freshest, highest quality hazelnuts and hazelnut products!

Our product line includes our mainstay: our pure, simply delicious DuChilly Hazelnut-our heirloom hazelnut known for its mild, sweet characteristics.

With the global demand for hazelnut products growing to record levels and with the soaring popularity of hazelnuts in the Pacific Northwest, Holmquist Hazelnut Orchards is well positioned and committed to meeting this collective demand on the part of our customers with our healthy and delicious, locally grown hazelnuts!

Quality and freshness are the driving factors in the harvest and production of our hazelnuts.
We and the farms we work with are conventional operations, but strive to be environmentally conscious. By-products such as the hazelnut shells, empty hazelnuts and husks are recycled into mulch. Growers that we work with use the hazelnut industry's farm safety plan and are compliant with WSDA's best management practices.
Our processing kitchen is WSDA certified and we use GAP/GMP practices. Our hazelnuts are Kosher certified and the raw hazelnuts are GMO free.
We support our local economy whenever possible.
